Clifton Arts Club Programme

Painting Mornings

These are held about twice a month when we have a still life and a clothed life model. This is a golden opportunity to practice various elements of the arts: drawing, layouts, painting etc. and meet members of the club in a relaxed atmosphere.

Outdoor Painting

Our Spring programme ends at the end of May when we then continue almost every week throughout the summer with open air painting at either well known public sites, National Trust sites or Members' gardens by arrangement. We are also very fortunate in being able to visit our members property who have extraordinarily beautiful gardens.

Lectures and Demonstrations

These are arranged throughout autumn, spring and summer given by professional practising artists and lecturers which are varied, educational and interesting.

Visits to Exhibitions

Each term we organise a coach trip to either major exhibitions ie. Tate, RA or places of special artistic interest (Greenwich etc). Our 'drop down' spots are right outside the door and excellent for picking up. Annually we visit the RA Summer Exhibition in July.
